Established in 2023, Absent Gallery® is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to exploring the boundaries of artistic expression. With a focus on emerging artists from hybrid cultural backgrounds, the gallery supports experimental practices across painting, installation, video, sculpture, and performance. Through a dynamic curatorial approach, Absent Gallery fosters cross-disciplinary dialogue and provides a platform for innovative voices shaping the future of contemporary art. Based in Guangzhou, the gallery is co-founded by multidisciplinary artist and curator Krish Liang, and independent film director and cross-media artist Anson Chen.
