Based in Songshan, b.1994

Artist Hu has immersed herself in the forests of Mount Song since 2021, studying under Yiliao and supporting fellow like-minded artists. Through her work, she demonstrates the interconnected fate of people, life, and art. This bold act of self-rescue, after being trapped in a modern life full of desires and temptations, involves abandoning the materialism and indifference of the city for a life of labor, farming, and sincere creation. Hu's works have been featured in the "Heavenly Creation Society: The Liberation of Calligraphy" exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, and the "Mountain Wind" tour in Sanya, China.

  • Living in the mountains has rewarded her with a complete and sensitive perception, naturally encouraging her to explore diverse artistic media. Her lifelong interest in tangible objects has mysteriously guided her to seek dialogue with items abandoned in small towns. Her classical ink paintings, characterized by points, jade, lines, and texture, intertwine with dynamic compositions and figures born from her personal experiences. Placing text and images on the same level, Hu actively demonstrates that the discussion of "semantic" and "symbolic" expression is both ancient and still vibrant with the collision of dimensions.
