Lin Zhao

SCULPTOR

Based in Jingdezhen, b. 1986

Lin Zhao is a contemporary ceramicist whose work explores the intersection of human civilization and the natural world. Using stoneware and clay strips, he creates forms that reflect biological authenticity and poetic simplicity. Rooted in early observations of nature, his practice situates humans within a shared ecological and evolutionary context, examining instinct, memory, and the latent logic of human behavior through tactile, materially grounded sculptures.
