Through her creations, Li Xin forges a profound emotional bond between utility and object. Her works evoke the omnipresence and organic forms of nature, utilizing both the materials and elements within her craft, along with the unpredictable flow of flames in the kiln. The flames, moving randomly across the surfaces, leave behind imprints that tell the story of the clay’s transformation from inception to completion.
