Yongchang Zhao: Moon in Heart
"The Fable of the White Rabbit and the Moon" by Zhou Guoping explores the perils of possessing great wealth or interests, which can lead to endless anxieties over gains and losses. Initially, the White Rabbit, an expert in "appreciating the moon," enjoyed a carefree relationship with the moon, devoid of any utilitarian concerns. However, when the King of Gods declared the moon as her property, their relationship transformed into one driven by utility. Consequently, her mindset shifted from carefree to one consumed by constant anxiety over protecting her possession, making it difficult for her to appreciate the moon's beauty freely.
