译文:

青山高处上不易，白云深处行亦难。
留君不宿对秋月，莫厌山空泉石寒。

This poem depicts an autumn night when the poet's friend, Zhou Shixian, visits him in the mountains. The host, Chen Yu, greets his friend at a high peak where the terrain is steep, and white clouds envelop the trails, making the journey challenging.
Chen Yu invites his friend to stay overnight to enjoy the radiant autumn moon together. While the mountain may seem desolate, and the springs and rocks emit a chilling air, Chen Yu hopes his friend will embrace the serene and cool pleasure of mountain living rather than feel discomfort.
