Running-cursive Calligraphy of Tang Dynasty Yao's 'He Yangliu Zhi Ci' Scroll (行草唐姚合杨柳枝词轴)
译文:
叶叶如眉翠色浓,黄莺偏恋语从容。
桥边陌上无人识,雨湿烟和思万重。
Each leaf curves like a delicate eyebrow, rich with verdant hues.
The yellow oriole lingers, its song unhurried and melodious.
By the bridge and along the deserted paths, no one appears to know the poet’s presence. Amidst the drizzling rain and mist, boundless thoughts intertwine like endless layers of smoke.
This poem beautifully conveys a mood of quiet introspection and longing, set against a vivid natural backdrop. The lush greenery, the carefree song of the oriole, and the subtle melancholy of rain and mist create a poignant scene where nature mirrors the depth of human emotion.
